Twin sisters have dedicated more than 30 years to fostering hundreds of special kids

June 4, 2010

The Nashville Tennesseean recently profiled Donna Goad and Linda Dillard, identical twin sisters living in Ashland City, Tenn., a town located about 20 miles northwest of Nashville.

Their parents began fostering children more than 30 years ago. Both sisters began fostering children after they married, and, combined, the family has cared for more than 700 children in need.

As amazing as those numbers are, they only tell part of the story. Many of the kids Donna and Linda have fostered and, in some cases, adopted have very special medical needs.

Read their incredibly touching story at www.tennessean.com. Also, don’t miss the audio slideshow that is attached to the story.
