Ballet Memphis uses dance to help Girls Center teens

Youth Villages is grateful for the work that Dance Avenue, the outreach and education arm of Ballet Memphis, is doing at the Girls Center for Intensive Residential Treatment at the Bartlett campus of Youth Villages.

During a 10-week program that began in June, the girls are learning some ballet, African dances, modern, step and hip-hop and having a fun time in the class. At the end of the program, they’ll perform for families and mentors.
