Transforming lives in North Carolina with proven services
Results. Results. Results. At Youth Villages we’re all about results and the processes to achieve those successful results for the youth and families we serve. On any given day in North Carolina, Youth Villages serves close to 300 youth through our Multisystemic Therapy program and transitional living program. Currently, 90 percent of the youth we serve are discharged from our MST program into their home – meaning we have equipped both the youth and family with the skills necessary to create a successful environment for everyone. In fact, after one year, 84 percent of those youth are still living in the home and are in school, have graduated or are pursuing a GED.
Not only have lives been improved, but the past few months have proven quite exciting in other ways, including:
- Opening an office in Fayetteville
- Being named one of the Top 50 Best Non Profits to Work For in the country
- Receiving additional praise from the White House regarding effectiveness of our services
- Being recognized by Casey Family Programs of Seattle, Wash., in a case study detailing Youth Villages’ work in Tennessee to help reform the child welfare system by significantly reducing the number of youth entering foster care.
In the midst of an evolving system of mental healthcare across the state, Youth Villages maintains its focus on providing effective, evidence-based services through a proven, cost-effective model. While we value successful outcomes, we value changed lives even more.
