Employees from Jackson National Life participate in a book drive to supply reading materials to children receiving help in Middle Tennessee group homes.

Youth Villages is calling on volunteers throughout Middle Tenn. to help with a book drive for children receiving help in foster care and group homes.

Supporters can help by collecting or donating new or gently-used books, board games, video games and DVDs for the youth to enjoy.

The official drop-off date is 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Youth Villages Nashville office, 3310 Perimeter Hill Drive. Donations will also be accepted throughout the week during business hours starting Monday, Feb. 24.

Youth Villages is also competing in Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated’s (CCBCC) Serve Your City grant contest. Participants are encouraged to pledge their support for the book drive at http://www.coca-colaserveyourcity.com. If the project receives the most pledges, CCBCC will donate $2,500 to Youth Villages.

For questions about the book drive, please contact Lyndsay Berry Wilkinson at (615) 250-7323 or lyndsay.berry@youthvillages.org.
